POSITION OBJECTIVE
Reporting to the General Manager Banquets & Catering, the Banquet Server will work with the Food Services Team to deliver great service and quality products to ensure our guests have a wonderful experience that exceeds their expectations. The Banquet Server will set up venues for a function or event prior to the guest’s arrival and tear down the venue when the guests have left. The Banquet server may also be required at times to be a Banquet Bartender. When bartending, the incumbent is required to ensure the safe and healthy preparation of food & beverage items and ensure proper sanitation techniques are being met at all times to avoid cross-contamination and the spoiling of food and beverages.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Health & Safety · Ensure cleanliness and hygiene is maintained in the restaurant areas. · Strive to uphold a safe working environment and be Health and Safety conscious and actively involved in maintaining and improving a safe work environment. · Ensure the safe and healthy preparation of food & beverage items and ensure proper sanitation techniques are being met at all times to avoid cross-contamination and the spoiling of food and beverages under the direction of the Executive Chef. |
