The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000 plus a competitive bonus and incentive package. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, & discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. - Own the full business development lifecycle, from market mapping and prospecting through proposal development, negotiation, and closing
- Build relationships with executive decision-makers across corporate offices, professional services firms, technology companies, aviation organizations, agricultural businesses, and other workplace environments throughout Western Canada
- Help organizations reimagine their workplace experience through innovative hospitality, dining, amenities, and support service solutions
- Lead strategic sales pursuits valued in the millions of dollars, navigating complex stakeholder groups and competitive procurement processes
- Develop customized business cases, presentations, and proposals that demonstrate measurable value and business outcomes for prospective clients
- Partner closely with operations, culinary, marketing, finance, and subject matter experts to create compelling, differentiated client solutions
- Leverage Compass Group Canada’s national scale, industry expertise, and innovation capabilities to unlock new opportunities and accelerate growth
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and create long-term strategic partnerships with clients
- Coordinate and lead RFP responses, formal presentations, client meetings, site visits, and contract negotiations
- Consistently deliver against growth targets while maintaining a strong and healthy sales pipeline
- 5+ years of experience in a true hunter-style business development role with demonstrated success generating net-new business opportunities
- Proven track record of selling complex B2B solutions and navigating enterprise-level sales cycles
- Experience building relationships with C-suite and executive-level decision-makers
- Ability to uncover client challenges, develop strategic solutions, and communicate value in a compelling way
- Strong commercial acumen with experience developing financial models, business cases, and long-term contract strategies
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Experience operating successfully within a matrixed organization and collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for pursuing opportunities and turning prospects into long-term clients
- Ability to manage multiple pursuits simultaneously in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment
