The Events & Experience Specialist supports Sun Life’s onsite hospitality, employee experience, and event programs across two Montreal locations. This hands-on role coordinates in-person and hybrid meetings, town halls, and receptions, ensuring seamless delivery of event logistics, food and beverage services, and guest experiences. Working closely with business partners, vendors, and internal teams, the specialist manages space bookings, event orders, vendor coordination, onsite execution, and continuous service improvements.
Reporting to the Lead, Event & Experience, the role collaborates with Workplace Strategy, Workplace Solutions, Broadcast & Event Services, AV/Technology teams, and external partners. Responsibilities also include Future of Work support and tours, guest services, basic workplace operations support, expense and invoice coordination, inventory oversight, and adherence to health, safety, and security standards.

- 2+ years of experience in corporate events, hospitality, or customer service
- Strong event coordination, vendor management, and onsite execution skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Strong relationship, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and comfort with event, booking, and CRM systems
- Experience with expenses, reconciliations, and administrative coordination
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and support event setup/teardown
- Hospitality-related certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexibility to work early mornings or evenings as needed
- Knowledge of AV equipment and event production
- Industry association involvement
- Fully bilingual in French and English
- Eligible to obtain Government of Canada Reliability Status
