We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to help scale and optimize our unique sales and customer success operations through best-in-class systems, data, and processes. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing revenue system solutions (Salesforce Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Agentforce, and more), while partnering closely with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing Operations, and Product teams.
You will play a critical role in translating business needs into scalable systems, improving operational efficiency, enabling end users through documentation and training, and ensuring data integrity to support growth and decision-making. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role for someone who enjoys building, optimizing, and continuously improving GTM systems.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the discovery, implementation, configuration, testing, support, maintenance, and improvement of our Salesforce platform and integrations with other business systems and tools.
- Partner with the pre-sales and customer success teams to identify opportunities for workflow improvements and capability enhancements.
- Scope business requirements, translate business needs into clear product priorities, polished user stories, and clear acceptance criteria
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and ensure requirements are clearly defined, technically feasible, and aligned with business outcomes.
- Collaborate with developers to determine the appropriate implementation approach
- Lead QA and/or User Acceptance Testing and refine testing process in partnership with Development to reduce errors and risks in production deployments.
- Maintain a strong understanding of platform capabilities to guide solution decisions.
- Define and manage integrations with adjacent systems (e.g., marketing automation, conversation intelligence, data platforms, etc.)
- Documenting system configuration and administrative processes, developing process flows, SOPs and other documentation.
- User Enablement and Support: Develop user documentations, training materials, and conduct user training sessions on tools, processes, and best practices to maximize productivity.
- Keeping up to date with Salesforce and other system releases and best practices to inform and recommend system improvements.
- Assist or participate in projects aimed at improving revenue operations, including process improvements and technology implementations.
What We’re Looking for:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience;
- Experience: 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce (preferably Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud) in a business and user facing role.
- Experience working in revenue operations, business analysis, solution architect or related roles, preferably within a technology or SaaS environment.
- Must have strong hands-on administrator level skills with Salesforce core platform and the willingness to expand on your technical knowledge base.
- Strong understanding of system integrations, data structures, and business process design.
- Skilled in creating documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, user facing training materials and guides; Obsessed with detail and organized documentation.
- Excellent stakeholder management, verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Natural curiosity, strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
- Highly organized self-starter with the ability to take ownership, work independently, and influence across teams.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and JIRA
Nice to Have
- Salesforce Certified with a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and its best practices
- Experience with BI/Reporting tools (Power BI, Looker); Ability to extract insights from data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Experience with other revenue applications such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CPQ, Gong, or other sales tools.
- Knowledge of Apex, triggers, SOQL, SOSL
- Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub
