Job Summary:
The Lead Hand will support daily restaurant operations by providing leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring excellent customer service, food quality, safety, and efficient service. The role assists with staffing, cash handling, inventory, and shift operations while promoting teamwork and maintaining company standards.
The hourly wage for this role is $19.80. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, direction, and on-the-floor support to team members during assigned shifts.
- Coordinate breaks, task assignments, and staffing coverage to meet operational needs.
- Support opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory, and restocking.
- Ensure food quality, product availability, cleanliness, and sanitation standards are maintained.
- Support efficient service and Speed of Service during peak periods.
- Coach and support team members while promoting teamwork and accountability.
- Assist with resolving customer concerns and operational issues professionally.
- Support sales growth, waste control, and consistent adherence to company and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a quick-service restaurant (QSR), food service, or customer service environment is preferred.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an asset.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead, coach, and support team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive Guest experience.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions during busy periods.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety standards.
- Ability to handle cash and support inventory and restocking activities.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, and varying shifts, as required.
