Culligan Water Fort McMurray is looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Temporary Administrative Assistant to join our team.
This position is being filled on a temporary basis to provide coverage during an employee leave. The duration of the assignment is currently undetermined and may vary depending on operational requirements.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operation of our branch and work closely with customers, drivers, service technicians, sales, warehouse, and management. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and providing a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Provide professional and friendly customer service by phone, email, and in person
- Enter and process customer orders accurately
- Schedule deliveries, service calls, installations, and other customer requests
- Communicate with drivers and service technicians regarding daily work requirements
- Prepare and process work orders, delivery documentation, and customer paperwork
- Maintain accurate customer account information and records
- Assist with invoicing, payments, filing, and general administrative duties
- Monitor emails and ensure customer requests are directed to the appropriate team member
- Follow up on outstanding customer requests and service issues
- Assist with maintaining office supplies and branch documentation
- Support other departments with administrative tasks as required
- Work collaboratively with the office team to ensure daily responsibilities are completed
Qualifications
- Previous administrative, customer service, or office experience is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working with computers, email, and Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to learn new software and internal systems
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and respectful when dealing with customers and coworkers
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
Experience with dispatching, scheduling, customer account management, invoicing, or service-based businesses would be considered an asset.
