- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the cafeteria.
- Supervise, support, and motivate cafeteria staff.
- Ensure food is prepared, served, and presented according to company standards.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service to students and staff.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and food safety standards.
- Complete daily cash handling and ensure accurate cash procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory and place orders as required.
- Maintain appropriate food and labour costs.
- Ensure the cafeteria, kitchen, equipment, and storage areas are clean, organized, and maintained.
- Follow all company, health and safety, and Board policies and procedures.
- Assist with scheduling and staff coverage as needed.
- Address day-to-day operational issues and communicate concerns to the Operations Manager.
- Build positive relationships with school staff, students, and the school community.
