The hourly wage range for this position is $25.00 – $35.00/hour Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. ESFM is the corporate Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) division of Compass Group Canada operating in the business & industry sector. Along with providing IFM services to the Canadian Headquarters of several multi-national businesses, ESFM’s list of clients include household names in the Telecommunications, Entertainment, Pharmaceutical, Gas & Oil, Food Processing and Automotive markets.

Job Summary
Assist with day-to-day upkeep, maintenance and smooth operation of the facility.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance on the facility including: changing light bulbs, carpentry, painting, minor drywall repair, minor plumbing and tile repair
- Repairing Interior walls, installing drywall for repair or replacement
- Inspect the facility and other structures to detect malfunctions, furniture maintenance and conduct repairs accordingly.
- Ad-Hoc duties such as Window and door repairs, mounting curtain poles, track and fixture shelves
- Perform other work related duties as assigned (custodial duties. administrative duties)
- Complete preventative maintenance (mechanical rounds, equipment testing, etc.) and annual inspections
- Room setups, furniture reconfiguration/moves as required
- Service and update online service tickets/work orders
- duties will include maintenance (repair and cleaning of building)
- Duties will include maintenance related to cleaning, restocking supplies/dispensers and sanitizing areas.
- Coverage and support for office front desk and parcels/mail as required.
Qualifications:
- Possess excellent communication skills in English both oral and written
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of this position
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and extensive walking around the facility
- Ability to operate related equipment such as manual or electric tools
- Ability to work independently as well as get along with others
- Should be highly detail oriented as well as ability to multitask
- Must be aware and or trained on the safe use of equipment, site safety practices, fire prevention and work regulations
- Computer skills required for communication, job coordination and updating work completed tickets.
