How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock and managing inventory within the warehouse.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will:
- Assist with the counting and receiving of merchandise
- Maintain internal record keeping system, record shortages and identify damaged merchandise
- Pack merchandise to be shipped, unpack merchandise received
- Load and unload merchandise
- Assist with maintaining adequate stock levels across multiple stores
- Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor/Operations Manager
- Organize overstock merchandise in home locations in the warehouse
- Sort merchandise and prepare for the sales floor (unpackaging, hanging apparel, pricing)
About you:
- Must have computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must be able to lift, move, push, pull items weighing up to 50lbs and be able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and organization
- Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently to complete work assignments, as well as within a team when necessary
