The Kitchen General Helper will be responsible for basic food preparation, providing excellent customer service and maintenance of front counter and kitchen area.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct work in accordance with safety standards.
- Ability to work in various workstations including sandwich making and its preparation.
- Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
- Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
- Assure compliance with food safety policies and all sanitation and safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Food Safety Certification is an asset.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to be able to manage workload.
- Ability to work both independently and in team setting as required.
- Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Previous food service experience in a fast-food chain, banquet, restaurant setting is an asset.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position. Minor heavy lifting may be involved (up to 40 lb.)
Position Requirements:
- Must have Tim Hortons experience
- Negative Drug & Alcohol Test
- Shifts: 8hr/Day
- Rotation: 5 Days On/ 2 Days Off
- Only accepting applicants from Fort McMurray
