The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled data and technology leader to join our growing Strategy team at Foodbuy.Reporting to the Director, Strategic Development, this role will play a key part in shaping how we use data, technology, and insights to drive smarter decisions and unlock new opportunities.You’ll join a small but expanding, high-impact team focused on advancing Foodbuy’s corporate strategy—identifying opportunities to improve our operating model, grow revenue streams, optimize processes, and strengthen our technology ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of data, analytics, and technology architecture, with a strong emphasis on building robust reporting solutions, improving underlying data structures, and enabling scalable, reliable insight generation. You will operate across multiple systems—some integrated, others fragmented—to build high-quality datasets, advanced dashboards, and trusted analytical outputs. While you will not own enterprise systems, you will play a critical role in strengthening how data is modeled, structured, governed, and leveraged across the organization. At this time, the role is an individual contributor.
Now, if you were to come on board as our Senior Manager, Business Intelligence & Data Enablement, we would ask you to do the following for us:
- Own and evolve reporting for the Strategy and Member Development teams
- Design and deliver scalable, high-performance Power BI dashboards (including advanced DAX and Power Query development)
- Develop a cohesive dashboard strategy aligned to executive, operational, and functional user needs
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for decision-making
- Deliver recurring dashboards, deep-dive analysis, and ad hoc insight requests
- Continuously enhance the performance, usability, and clarity of reporting outputs
- Drive consistency and standardization across dashboards and datasets
- Develop a deep understanding of end-to-end data flows across systems and functions
- Support team members in understanding the data architecture and flows
- Identify and diagnose data inconsistencies, gaps, redundancies, and process breakdowns
- Trace data issues back to source systems and workflows, driving root-cause resolution
- Document and assess current data architecture and system dependencies
- Proactively surface risks and opportunities related to data accuracy, accessibility and scalability
- Collaborate with Data Intelligence team to recommend improvements to strengthen data integrity and reliability

- Advanced expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
- Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries, transformations, optimization)
- Experience using Python for data processing, automation, and/or advanced analytics
- Familiarity with data warehouses and data lakes (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)
- Strong understanding of data modeling principles (relationships, normalization, star schemas, etc.)
- Ability to work with multiple data sources and complex, fragmented environments
- Experience building scalable, production-quality dashboards and datasets
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
- Comfort working in ambiguous environments with evolving data structures
- 7-10 years of experience in data analytics, data science and/or data engineering, with a bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar is preferred
- Exposure to machine learning or predictive modeling considered an asset
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus
