Position Summary
The General Helper supports daily facility operations in a busy office environment with multiple kitchens, washrooms, common areas, and conference/event spaces. This role helps maintain cleanliness, organization, safety, and overall workplace readiness.

Key Responsibilities
· Clean and sanitize kitchens, washrooms, counters, appliances, and high-touch surfaces
· Load and unload dishwashers and replenish supplies
· Spot mop floors and respond to spills or cleaning requests
· Set up and maintain conference rooms and event spaces
· Organize storage areas and assist with deliveries and moving supplies
· Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
· Replace light bulbs and safely use ladders for minor facility tasks
· Assist with vendor escorts and on-demand operational requests
· Update, log, and record activities related to service requests and completed tasks
· Support general facilities operations and perform other related duties as assigned

Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
· Frequent lifting, able to lift 30-50lbs, carrying, bending, reaching, and repetitive movement
· Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-traffic areas
· Ability to safely use ladders and handle physical cleaning tasks

Qualifications
· Previous janitorial, facilities, hospitality, or general labour experience preferred
· Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
· Good communication and teamwork skills
