Position Summary
Culligan Water is looking for a reliable, hardworking staff member to help with the preparation, cleaning, production, and handling of igloos used for customer deliveries and service. This role is important in keeping our products clean, organized, safe, and ready for distribution.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, physically capable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare igloos for daily production and delivery requirements.
- Clean, sanitize, inspect, and organize igloos according to company standards.
- Fill, package, label, and stage igloos as required.
- Check igloos for damage, cleanliness, leaks, or defects before use.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area.
- Follow all company health, safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
- Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and storing igloos and related products.
- Track production quantities and report shortages, damages, or issues to a supervisor.
- Support warehouse and production staff with other duties as needed.
- Operate basic production or warehouse equipment if trained and authorized.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, production, sanitation, or general labour experience is an asset.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and move heavy items safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a physically active role.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Must follow all workplace safety requirements.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment.
- Repetitive lifting, cleaning, filling, and staging duties may be required.
Work Environment
This position is based in a production and warehouse setting. The role may involve wet areas, moving equipment, repetitive tasks, and regular physical activity. Safety procedures and cleanliness standards must be followed at all times.
