Regional Vice President of Sales for Canteen Canada is responsible for leading the sales support strategy, planning and the functions essential to support the sales agenda as well as deliver against the growth ambitions of Canteen Canada and Compass Group Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Work as a key member of Sales Leadership team (SLT) to support and accelerate overall growth of Canteen Canada’s market share
- Develop, implement and evaluate national sales strategies and objectives
- Lead the New Business & Growth support resources including market insight & prospecting, proposal responses & presentation development, proforma process, analytics and benchmarking
- Provide leadership and coaching to the sales organization
- Lead sales planning, proposal and RFP processes
- Accountable for the annual sales performance management cadence
- Own the CRM sales planning and reporting process and work closely with the CGO to set annual targets
- Ensure voice of customer, consumer insights and company strategies are embedded in planning
- Establish high levels of accountability and performance management underpinned by a winning and collaborative culture
- Work closely with senior sales leadership to define the optimal performance measurements
- Establish M&E process for continuous improvement and maximum effectiveness

Qualifications
- 10 years senior sales experience, minimum 5 years at a leadership level and/or 5 years in a leadership level for sales operations, business planning, or sales support management role.
- MBA or extensive leadership training preferred, Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong people management and leadership to build, coach, inspire and engage a high-performing team.
- Strategic innovator with proven leadership and successful sales qualities
- Documented track record of growing new business sales and experience of leading in matrix organizations.
- Strong P&L management experience and ability to analyze and interpret complex financial and operational data
- Expert understanding and experience in leading and teaching sales processes and sales support functions that drive profitable revenue growth
- Excellent presentation skills and experience presenting to internal and external C level leadership teams
- Flexible in style and approach to work with varying disciplines.
