The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $125,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. The Director, Workforce Strategy is accountable for enterprise labour strategy, workforce productivity, and labour cost governance across Compass Canada Group. This role partners closely with Operations, Finance, Payroll, HR, and Technology to ensure disciplined workforce practices that support operational excellence across multi-site foodservice and support services environments. The Director serves as the enterprise owner of the UKG Workforce Management platform.

- Labour Strategy & Cost Optimization
- Lead enterprise labour optimization strategy aligned to Compass Canada Group’s operational and financial objectives.
- Drive sustainable labour productivity improvements across multi-site operations.
- Monitor labour cost performance versus budget, forecast, and operational plans.
- Workforce Management Systems (UKG)
- Act as an enterprise product owner for UKG Workforce Management, including time & attendance, scheduling, and labour analytics.
- Partner with IT, Payroll, HR, and Operations to optimize UKG configuration, reporting, and adoption.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to standardize and fully leverage UKG capabilities.
- Workforce Governance & Compliance
- Own enterprise overtime governance, targets, and reporting.
- Establish standards to ensure accurate time of capture, scheduling discipline, and payroll compliance.
- Drive manager accountability and reduce payroll leakage.
- Executive Labour Insights
- Provide senior leaders with clear dashboards, insights, and deep-dive analysis.
- Translate workforce data into actionable operational recommendations.
- People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the Senior Analyst and Business Analyst.
- Set analytical standards, priorities, and development plans.
