How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for directing, coordinating, and evaluating assigned kitchen, food production and food-service associates.
As a Production Chef, you will:
- Direct and supervise all aspects of food production and services
- Take responsibility for daily operations, such as preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Assist to oversee all food and labour.
- Ensure strict compliance with the Compass Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Program, Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS regulations
About you:
- Post-secondary education in culinary or related studies
- 4 years of kitchen management experience, preferably in a large scale environment
- 4 years experience working in commercial and bulk catering preferred
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, paying attention to accuracy and detail
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to accommodate a flexible work schedule (including weekends)
- Capable of performing administrative duties
Position Requirements:
- Red Seal Certificate
- Advanced Food Safe Certification
- Pass a Criminal Record Check
- Shift: 10hr/Day
- Rotation: 5 Days On/ 2 Days Off
- Season End: August 21, 2026
The hourly wage for this position is $26.00. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
