Supervisor Responsibilities
The hourly wage rate for this position is $17.60. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Summary
The expectation of this position is that the employee performs their duties and responsibilities in an efficient and effective manner. Furthermore, the expectation is to perform these duties while working as a part of a team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work in suites assigned for the event by Suite Coordinator. Will be assigned multiple suites per event and assignments may vary depending on operation needs
- Ensure to go over all information found in the suite binder and the BEO for each suite assigned for that event
- Verify billing information, special instructions, and advance order details for each suite assigned for the event
- Complete pre-game task list prior to event doors
- Maintain and track inventory for each suite during the event. All inventory counts will be verified with a supervisor at closing
- Set up suite following standard suite set up
- Verify suite area is properly set up, stocked and ready for guests prior to doors
- Greet suite guests, verify their tickets, and assist the suite guests with any food and beverage service they require during the event.
- Maintain the premium atmosphere and service in the suites during the event
- Ensure to always keep suite clean during the event and service, clearing dirty dishes throughout the game
- Upsell additional food and beverage to guests during the event
- Enter in all sales and product used in the POS under the correct client’s tab
- Communicate any game day food orders to the Suite Coordinator, following up to ensure the food arrives in the suite
- Provide friendly and efficient service to staff and guests, ensuring to follow proper safe alcohol service guidelines and regulations
- Use proper wine bottle opening techniques
- Assist guests with any questions or concerns about the food and beverage offered during the event
- Ensure that the suite is always fully always stocked and clean
- Ensure all suite bills and orders are closed out and payment has been processed for all suites at the end of the event. This includes properly tracking tabs, processing credit/debit credit, and providing each guest with a receipt
- Ensure all closing procedures are completed correctly, product is restocked, and the suite is ready for the next event at the end of the shift
- Check in with the Suite Coordinator to ensure suite is closed correctly
- Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands/ Work Environment
- Frequent periods of standing and walking
- Occasional lifting and carrying.
- Outdoor venue subject to changing environmental conditions.
- Frequent use of stairs.
- Size of Stadium tends to involve higher physical demands on event days.
- Sensory Attention: this environment is a noisy loud environment on event days.
Language Skills
- English is the working language at this job location. Candidate must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English.
- French is not mandatory but considered an asset.
Qualifications
- Previous Hospitality experience considered an asset
- Previous Customer Service experience considered an asset
- Wine Bottle Opening Experience considered an asset
- Must have completed high school or equivalent. Relevant work experience will be considered an asset.
- Must be bondable, and pass an employer administered background check.
- Must be able to demonstrate mathematical skills
- Must possess a valid Smart Serve Certificate
- Must be able to work all RedBlacks Games, 50% of Atletico games, and any other large-scale event where suites are open
