The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards program will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role. Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Junior Accountants, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Responsible for preparing National billing, analysis, month end accrual and reconciliation.
- Provide accounting and financial analysis support to management and operation units.
- P&L review for month end close.
- Prepare balance sheet analysis as applicable.
- Ensure unit managers understand and fulfill the financial terms and obligations of client contracts and follow generally accepted accounting principles.
- Manage financial queries both from operations and management.
- Provide professional, timely and accurate financial information to clients, Operations Management and Senior Management as required.
- Assist, as assigned, duties and responsibilities as they relate to acquisition integration
- Other accounting duties and finance projects as assigned.

- College diploma in Accounting or equivalent with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Three years’ experience in a computerized accounting environment (JD Edwards experience preferred).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, well-organized, team player capable of contributing to a very busy accounting department.
- Bilingual- French (asset)
- Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible and can quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.
- Able to balance team and individual responsibilities.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
