The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. Further details regarding our total rewards program will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role. Now, if you were to come on board as a Financial Analyst we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Work with cross function teams as financial team lead on sales, purchases, inventory and payroll, etc. to translate the information into meaningful and accurate financial data.
- Use several automation/reporting/ entry tools for processes of Accounts Payable/ Receivables/ Payroll/ Cash/ Revenue and input data on daily basis, identify any variances and work toward resolution
- Coordinate and consolidate all month end reporting in terms of revenue, COGS and accruals
- Develop and prepare several reporting tools to facilitate automated financial results for various cost and profit centers.
- Work closely with accounting team to provide all necessary information for monthly and adhoc reporting; specific reporting includes;
- New and lost business analysis
- Like for like analysis and drivers
- Sector commentaries
- Manage and consolidate weekly forecasts and comments from sectors
- Review and follow up on any outstanding variances
- Facilitate consolidation and reporting for mid-year forecasts done by all sectors
- Work with sector leads to gather all necessary information for annual budget reporting
- Compile financial data and complete presentations for Executive team
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships cross functionally with business partners, clients and associates
- Act as a primary support for Operation Administrators and Unit Controllers
- Assist in all new account opening and visit units as required

- Degree in Finance and Accounting field required; currently working towards designation preferred
- Experience in the hospitality industry is an asset
- Strong attention to detail as well as critical thinking and analytical skills
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in Finance/Accounting field is preferred
- Proficient in Excel and intermediate level functionalities (V-lookups, pivot tables etc.)
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, analytically inclined and team player
- Strong business acumen & professionalism
- Ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet frequent deadlines
- Positive attitude with the willingness to accept flexibility in assignments and the desire to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to excel
