The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $72,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. As the Facility Coordinator, you are responsible for the coordination and execution of facility-related operations, maintenance, safety, and vendor management activities at the site. This role serves as a primary point of contact for employees, visitors, vendors, contractors, and landlord representatives, ensuring a safe, compliant, and well-maintained workplace that supports business operations.
Now, if you were to come on board as our Facility Coordinator, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Act as the main point of contact for site facility requests, issues, and service coordination
- Oversee and coordinate facility maintenance, cleaning, repairs, and building system services
- Conduct job safety reviews with contractors and employees and develop safe work plans
- Provide on-site safety orientations for contractors and employees as required
- Ensure all maintenance and service work is properly documented using Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) and service reports
- Manage and track facility-related work orders, service requests, and open work order reporting
- Perform frequent facility, safety, and security inspections, documenting findings and tracking corrective actions through resolution
- Administer the Facility Direct ticketing system and schedule preventive maintenance activities
- Coordinate monthly preventive maintenance, cleaning audit walks, eyewash station audits, and 5S audits for stockrooms and storage areas
- Monitor and manage PPE, cleaning supplies, and facility inventory, including weekly cycle counts
- Work closely with vendors, contractors, and landlord representatives to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to standard
- Review, approve, and process vendor invoices for Accounts Payable
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies and support scheduled after-hours maintenance as required

- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in Facilities Management, Building Operations, or a related field
- Experience coordinating facility maintenance, vendor services, and safety programs
- Strong working knowledge of workplace safety requirements and safe work practices
- Experience using CMMS systems; SAP experience preferred
- Familiarity with 5S principles, audit processes, and inventory control
- Strong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work across internal teams and external partners
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
