The salary range for this position is $67,800 to $90,400. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are looking for a technically skilled and detail-driven HRIS Analyst to support the ongoing configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Now, if you were to come on board as our HRIS Analyst, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Configure and maintain UKG modules and workflows to support core HR functions such as onboarding, recruitment, compensation, workforce management, benefits and payroll.
- Manage routine system updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity, compliance, and security standards are met.
- Support system integration between UKG and other enterprise applications.
- Work with P&C teams to ensure system configuration aligns with both standard business processes and collective agreement requirements.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, configuration guides, and user support materials.
- Provide technical guidance to UKG power users and act as Tier 2/3 support for system-related issues.

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources Technology, or a related field is ideal.
- 5+ years of experience working with HRIS systems (UKG, Workday, SAP, etc.) in a technical configuration or system administration role. UKG experience considered an asset.
- Proven experience with system configuration, user permissions, workflow design, and testing protocols.
- Solid understanding of database concepts and system integrations (e.g., APIs, SFTP, middleware).
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with data files and templates (e.g., XML, CSV).
- Exposure to reporting tools or business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Cognos, or similar).
- Understanding data security and role-based access controls.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences.
