The salary for this position is $60,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Now if you were to come on board as a Conferencing Supervisor, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Support Managers in supervising food service and conferencing operations, including week‑ahead planning and daily execution across all service areas.
- Oversee daily food service production and service delivery to ensure timely, high‑quality execution and exceptional guest experiences.
- Assist Managers with people leadership responsibilities, including scheduling, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, and fostering an engaged, service‑driven team culture.
- Support Managers with administrative, reporting, and labour‑related activities, including documentation, SOP support, and tracking inventory, sales revenue, labour, and food costs.
- Work closely with facilities, technology teams, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver seamless, high‑quality food, conferencing, and event experiences.
- Support the end‑to‑end coordination of meetings and events, including planning, logistics, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance, HACCP, Occupational Health & Safety, and WHMIS standards, including training, inspections, and incident reporting.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation across all food service and conferencing areas.

- Degree or working experience in a hospitality environment is considered a strong asset – corporate, restaurant or hotels. Preference given to those with events/catering experience
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or management role
- Food Handlers, ProServe, or Food Safe training is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship building, analytical and adaptability skills
- Strong technical skills and ability to learn and operate internal and external systems.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet frequent deadlines.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint etc.)
- Proficiency in event Management or Rooms Booking Software is a bonus
- Resourceful learner with an improvement mindset and strong problem-solving abilities
