Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Regional Culinary Support Manager, based out of Electronic Art (EA) in Burnaby BC, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Provide culinary and operational support to accounts across British Columbia as needed.
- Act as vacation, leave of absence, and emergency coverage for chefs and culinary leaders throughout the region.
- Support catering execution, menu development, and food production to ensure consistent guest experience across all locations.
- Assist account teams with food cost management, labour efficiency, ordering, and inventory controls.
- Provide coaching and guidance to culinary associates and managers while promoting Compass Group standards and best practices.
- Support new account openings, special events, client functions, and operational projects as required.
- Travel regularly between sites to provide hands-on support and ensure operational continuity.
- Develop positive client relationships and ensure overall client satisfaction with service and menu options are achieved.
- Manage client expectations and set high standard as to the service CGC will provide.
- Demonstrate creativity with menus, knowledge of the newest trends/cutting-edge cooking while following Healthy Eating Guidelines.
- Follow all H&S policies and regulations as well as HACCP.
- Maintain a high level of professional food quality and sanitation standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with Compass Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Programs, Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS regulations.
- Coordinate frequent workplace inspections and WHMIS training of all staff and promptly report any workplace incident to the Food Service Director or designate.

- Minimum 4 years of Chef and leadership experience with a strong catering background.
- You have great experience managing high-volume catering projects.
- Able to lead teams and possess strong leaderships skills.
- Creative ability to apply current food trends and presentations to menus and food service operations.
- Passionate about quality and customer service.
- Very detail-oriented individual and a strong team player.
- Good client relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
- You have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel between sites for coverage (can claim for mileage)
