Job Summary
How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock and managing inventory within the warehouse.
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will:
Lead and support the Warehouse team in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
Coordinate the distribution and shipment of goods; prepare bills of lading, invoices & other shipping documents.
Manage inventory using both manual and computerized systems, ensuring accurate tracking and record-keeping.
Maintain internal record keeping system, record shortages, report & reject damaged goods.
Receive and route goods to appropriate storage areas, pack goods to be shipped, unpack goods received.
Prepare, pack and dispatch outgoing shipments in a timely and efficient manner.
Supervise loading and unloading activities to ensure safe and proper handling of goods.
About you:
-Forklift Operator Certification will be an asset.
-Ability to perform well under pressure during peak seasons.
-Valid driver’s license is an asset.
-Must have computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office
-Ability to lift up to 50lbs
-Excellent customer service
-Strong written and verbal communication
-Ability to maintain Safety standards and compliance.
