The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. As we continue to evolve our finance ecosystem—including SAP, Power Platform, and AI-enabled solutions—we are seeking a Senior Business Analyst who can bridge business, technology, and innovation to deliver meaningful outcomes.
The Senior Business Analyst will lead complex finance process initiatives from discovery through implementation, working closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders. This role requires a strong mix of process leadership, solution design, systems integration, and emerging technology experience, including Power Platform and AI-enabled process improvement.
The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner—helping business owners rethink how work is done today while identifying short-term wins and longer-term transformation opportunities.
Now, if you were to come on board as our Senior Business Analyst – Finance Projects, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Lead end-to-end business analysis for complex finance initiatives, ensuring alignment with Finance strategy, operational priorities, and enterprise systems.
- Facilitate Finance process discussions with business owners to understand current-state workflows, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Document end-to-end finance processes using Visio, including current-state, future-state, and transition-state models.
- Identify short-term process improvements as well as long-term transformation opportunities, including automation, standardization, and technology enablement.
- Design and support Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to improve finance workflows, reporting, and controls in a corporate environment.
- Leverage AI-enabled solutions (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to develop, refine, and roll out process improvements.
- Collaborate closely with IT and technical teams to support SAP integrations, with a specific focus on improving finance processes across GL, AP, AR, procurement, and reporting.
- Analyze finance systems, data, and integrations to identify gaps, risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Create clear and concise documentation, presentations, and recommendations for Finance leadership and stakeholders.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), change management, and end-user enablement during implementations.
- Continuously evaluate existing finance processes and systems to recommend enhancements and optimization opportunities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting finance-related projects in a corporate environment.
- Proven experience leading finance process discussions with business owners and documenting workflows using Visio.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI reporting.
- Proven experience leveraging AI-enabled solutions to develop and implement process improvements or automation.
- Strong experience supporting and participation with SAP integrations, with a focus on improving finance processes and data flows.
- Solid understanding of core finance processes (GL, AP, AR, reporting, controls).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent.
- Advanced experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and automation technologies.
- Experience supporting ERP modernization or finance transformation programs.
- Familiarity with regulatory, audit, and compliance considerations in finance.
- Bilingual (French/English) is an asset.
