Summary
The hourly wage rate for this position is $17.60. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. The expectation of this position is that the employee performs their duties and responsibilities in an efficient and effective manner. Furthermore, the expectation is to perform these duties while working as a part of a team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide support in all areas of Premium including but not limited to Buffet and Beverage Stations, Premium Concessions and In Suite Service. May be assigned to work any of these premium areas depending on event operational needs
- Be on time and ready for service in approved uniform and non-slip shoes.
- Must maintain knowledge of the available food and beverage items as well as other products available in their assigned Premium area.
- Become familiar with setup requirements for various premium food and beverage offerings
- Ensure assigned premium stations are prepped and ready for service prior to doors, and also assisting with the prep of fellow teammates assigned areas when operationally needed
- Maintain an awareness of food levels and support culinary staff in replenishing food items. This can involve carrying hot food from the Pantry to the Chef’s Tables, wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, such as oven gloves.
- Maintain an awareness of beverage levels, ensuring to refill beverages as needed before it runs out
- Ensure that par levels of all paper products and station toppings are maintained before, during and after the game. This involves carrying these items from storage locations around the stadium.
- Maintain show quality of food, décor, utensils, labels and overall Food and Beverage stations appearance throughout shift: this includes, but is not limited to, picking up empty cups and plates from area, and wiping down tables and hardware and replacing used serving utensils.
- Ensure all premium food and beverage areas are clean prior, during and after the event, following our health and safety protocols
- Follow proper inventory management procedures when grabbing product during the shift
- Process orders correctly on the POS. Not all assignment for events will involve ordering taking through the POS
- Deliver orders to the client in a timely fashion, ensuring the order is correct
- Always provides customer service that exceed guest expectations.
- Complete all closing duties including cleaning, putting equipment and product away, and other tasks as delegated by team lead or supervisor
- Performs other duties as assigned

Physical Demands/ Work Environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs.
- Frequent periods of standing and walking
- Outdoor venue subject to changing environmental conditions.
- Frequent use of stairs.
- Size of Stadium tends to involve higher physical demands on event days.
- Sensory Attention: this environment is a noisy loud environment on event days.
Language Skills
- English is the working language at this job location. Candidate must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English.
- French is not mandatory but considered an asset.
Qualifications
- Must be bondable, and pass an employer administered background check.
- Must be able to demonstrate mathematical skills
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous Hospitality experience, or food and beverage experience is considered an asset
- Smart Serve Certificate considered an asset
- Must be able to work all RedBlacks Games
