Job Summary:
The Industrial Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within a high-demand industrial setting. This role supports daily operations by ensuring all facilities meet safety, hygiene, and client standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning of industrial areas, including offices, washrooms, locker rooms, and common spaces.
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety protocols.
- Handle waste collection, segregation, and disposal in accordance with site requirements.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report inventory needs.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow all site-specific safety procedures, PPE requirements, and WHMIS guidelines.
- Report maintenance issues, hazards, or incidents promptly.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous janitorial or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a remote or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and procedures.
- Physically fit; able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and comply with ongoing site testing requirements.
Work Conditions:
- Rotational schedule (e.g., 5/2).
- Day or night shifts, depending on site needs.
- Industrial environment with strict safety compliance requirements.
- Food allowance for 8+hr/day of $28.50.
