Job Summary
The salary range for this position is $145,200 to $193,600. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards program will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. The Vice President, Compass Account Management is responsible for driving the strategy, governance, performance, and long‑term growth of Compass Account Management across all the Sectors.
Now, if you were to come on board as our Vice President, Compass Account Management, We’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Provide strategic direction and executive oversight for the Compass Account Management function, ensuring alignment with priorities and long‑term growth strategies.
- Serve as the primary executive liaison between Foodbuy, Sector Leadership, and senior Operations leaders to optimize national program integration and performance.
- Champion compliance with Compass programs across all sectors, utilizing data-driven insights to inform decisions and influence adoption at the executive level.
- Oversee the design and execution of implementation frameworks.
- Lead enterprise-wide alignment of new program rollouts, ensuring cross-functional collaboration among Category Development, Distribution, Finance, and Operational Excellence teams.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth by identifying sector-specific opportunities and championing strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Lead financial performance improvement across assigned sectors through continuous evaluation of program impact, opportunity gaps, and compliance trends.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, performance dashboards, and success metrics to track progress and enhance accountability across the business.
- Develop and maintain high-level engagement plans that strengthen executive relationships within each sector.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of senior leaders, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous professional development.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline; MBA or equivalent senior executive education strongly preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive leadership experience, including executive accountability in business development, account management, operations, or a service-related industry.
- Proven success influencing and collaborating with C‑suite executives.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, commercial acumen and financial leadership.
- Deep experience with P&L management, financial analysis, and revenue growth strategies.
- Exceptional planning, organization, and execution capability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
- Strong people leadership skills, including developing senior talent and building high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
