Job Summary
In this position, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service and solutions to our prospects and diverse internal teams. Your mission is to find and engage potential clients, understand their needs, and demonstrate how our offerings enrich their experiences. Your passion for networking, teamwork, and commitment to service excellence in alignment with Compass Group’s values and vision will contribute to our growth as a world-class provider of contract foodservice and support services.
Now, if you were to come on board as our Sales Development Representative we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Master lead generation using our CRM, cold calls, email, and other tools in collaboration with outside sales
- Understand how to add value to prospects’ unique needs through our food and beverage solutions
- Explore new business prospects and projects, making the Canadian territory your playground
- Daily outreach to new prospects and develop effective campaigns to generate interest
- Coordinate meetings or calls between potential customers and sales executives
- Provide regular reports on lead generation progress, or projects, including feedback and/or opportunities for process improvement
- Maintain accurate and timely notes within the CRM and assist with validating current data records

- Demonstrate a track record of two or more years in sales, exemplifying unwavering focus on achieving goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and able to effectively interact and build positive relationships with diverse groups
- Like continuously improving, learning, and solving problems
- Enjoy a dynamic work environment and team collaboration
- Able to work independently from home with minimal supervision, and open to occasional travel (USA, Canada)
- Bilingual (English, French)
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or at least two years of relevant work experience
- Previous experience working in a B2B sales role
- Highly organized
- Proficient with CRM software, Microsoft Suite (Excel, OneNote, Outlook)
