Job Summary
Catering Coordinator, the role is to support the catering department, as well as the Sales Manager and Catering Manager in their administrative and logistical tasks.
Essential tasks and responsibilities:
- Manage space requests for internal CH Group event bookings: coffee breaks, meetings, executive business lunches for the organization.
- Execution of all event-related tasks: drafting of service contracts (BEO), translation of menus, event memos, production of menus for restaurant display and buffet labels, customer signage, etc.
- Update of room reservation software: menu and price entries.
- Follow-up on payments and process payments
- Distribution of weekly event reports
- Assistance on the event floor: accompanying suppliers, decorating stations
- All other related tasks.
Qualifications:

- At least one year of solid experience in the food industry.
- Knowledge of foodservice, including catering.
- Strong supervisory skills and ability to motivate and lead staff.
- Strong interest in events;
- Bilingualism, both written and spoken (French and English).
- Excellent teamwork skills;
- Proficiency in Office suite software (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
- Ability to manage priorities and stress.
- Meticulous and organized;
- Experience in the food service industry is an asset.
- Good personal appearance;
- Honesty and impeccable work ethic.
