Job Summary
As a Data Analyst for Levy Canada, at Assiniboine Park Conservancy, you will be responsible for applying various methodologies to gather, measure, analyze, and report on our business initiatives.
Now, if you were to come on board as a Data Analyst, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Collect and analyze data from various sources across the organization
- Experience presenting to non-technical stakeholders
- Cleanse and prepare data
- Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in data sets
- Work with the Levy Operations teams to turn patterns and trends into actionable improvements
- Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual reporting is accurate and prepared on time
- Preparing reports for management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
- Clearly communicate findings to the Levy Operations team and Partner, Assiniboine Park Conservancy
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting systems
- Work closely with the Levy Operations Team and E15 to ensure reporting is aligned with programs in place and partner expectations
- Help design, build, and automate reports/dashboards as required
- Other duties / special projects as required

- 2+ years of relevant work experience or combination of education and experience
- Post Secondary Education in Finance and or a degree surround Business Analytics
- Passion for analyzing and exploring data
- Experience using data visualization software such as Power BI, Tableau, Hubble or similar tools
- Experience developing and maintaining databases, data systems
- Excellent computer skills and experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mind-set, ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet frequent deadlines
- Strong business acumen & professionalism
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Experience working within the Hospitality industry an asset
