Job Summary
The Marketing Manager at Assiniboine Park Conservancy plays a key role in developing and executing marketing programs that drive guest engagement and sales across all food and beverage outlets. Working closely with operations, culinary, and design teams, this role brings programs to life through strategic campaigns, compelling content, and activations that enhance the overall guest experience.
Now, if you were to come on board as our Marketing Manager, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Execute and manage marketing programs, promotions, and strategies across all food and beverage outlets
- Develop marketing materials such as advertisements, signage, and print/digital assets through graphic design programs, and collaborate with external designers where required
- Create detailed marketing execution guides for all programs, train frontline teams
- Build excitement around available marketing programs and promotions with operations and guests; measure, track and communicate results on ongoing basis
- Partner with the Corporate Communications team on all digital marketing efforts, including website content, email campaigns, and social media
- Craft compelling social media content and manage relevant accounts across Instagram and Facebook
- Host engaging pop-ups and activations that enhance the guest experience
- Elevate presentation of all areas through effective merchandising, support any rebranding efforts and space refreshes as needed
- Train on-site team on retail marketing best practices and brand standards
- Manage the internal brand auditing platform and marketing incentive programs
- Support the retail merchandise department with promotional activities
- Maintain strong collaborative working relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues

- At least three years of experience in marketing with a degree/diploma or specialization in marketing
- Experience in developing and executing marketing plans associated with food and or food brands
- Strong interpersonal skills and an eye for detail
- Strong communication skills
- Experience capturing engaging photo and video content
- Excellent customer service skills and experience; you have a customer focused, “can do” and “customer is always right” attitude
- Able to multi-task and work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), experience with Canva
- You have an energetic, outgoing, and proactive approach
