Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and passionate Jr. Regional Chef to join our team and support our growing network of kitchens. This role is based in Ontario but requires frequent travel to other provinces to assist various locations with training, quality control, and operational support.
Now, if you were to come on board as our Junior Regional Chef we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Assist in the development and execution of company menus, recipes, and food quality standards.
- Provide hands-on training to kitchen teams, ensuring consistency in food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Conduct kitchen audits to ensure adherence to company standards, health and safety regulations, and food safety protocols.
- Assist with new unit openings by overseeing kitchen setup, training teams, and ensuring a smooth launch.
- Provide support during peak business periods, special events, and promotional activities.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and regional management team to identify operational improvements and implement best practices.
- Assist in cost control measures by monitoring food waste, portion sizes, and inventory usage.
- Support kitchen teams in sourcing high-quality ingredients and maintaining vendor relationships.

- Culinary diploma or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a multi-unit or regional support role.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different kitchen environments.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across provinces.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices.
