The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $175,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. Job Summary
Now, if you were to come on board as a Senior Regional Director of Operations, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Be accountable for the efficient execution for the region, including all compliance with corporate policies and procedures as well as government legislated rules and regulations.
Financial
- Set and develop accurate budgets and forecasts.
- Exceed the financial goals, and obligations of budgets and forecasts for client organizations.
- Assist in increasing region/division revenue and profitability by developing budget forecasts and operation plans, assessing and analyzing operation capabilities, and ensuring adherence to budget.
- Review of all P&L’s and prepare monthly required reports and analysis.
Sales and Business Development
- Grow existing business by implementing and supporting new business strategies in collaboration with Compass support functions.
- Work with client to build relationships to retain contracts.
- Support development of accurate and timely proformas and reviews.
- Participate actively in the sales process, conduct client negotiations, and coordinate documentation of contract changes.
- Grow the business footprint within the assigned client unit.
Relationships
- Foster strong working relationships with senior leaders within each area of responsibility.
- Build relationships with our clients and entertain this involvement and this high touch approach.
- Attend contractual meetings with the client as required, identify risk, and develop action plans.
Operational
- Set strategic goals and vision for the operations team.
- Plan and execute current strategic goals.
- Perform operational audits of units and design improvements to optimize financial performance, operational productivity, and to ensure conformance with government, and accrediting agency standards, regulations, and codes regarding food storage, preparation, sanitation, and record keeping.
- Monitor labour costs to ensure compliance with budgets.
- Prepare reports and participate in weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reviews with supervisor and senior leadership team.

- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of related management experience in a multi-unit/multi-faceted facility and food service environment.
- Must have proven financial management experience within a multi-billion-dollar corporation managing a comparable size portfolio of business.
- Post-secondary education from four-year college or university required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong motivator, mentor, and leader with superior interpersonal skills in building relationships and working with all clienteles.
- Experience with multi-unit operation (franchise or contract services) with volume more than $30M or more.
- Experience in building client relationships.
- Experience in sales for technical services with tier 1 clients.
