Job Summary
How you will make an impact:
As Catering Delivery Driver you will be an integral part of team ensuring items are loaded, transported and delivered to clients and businesses in a safe and timely manner.
As a Catering Delivery Driver, you will:
- Ensure all orders arrive complete, on time and do the satisfaction of clients
- Load vehicles logically and efficiently to maximize productivity
- Arranging buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards at delivery location
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients and dispatch
- Return food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering facility
- Follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment
- Assist dispatch with tidying, organization and preparation for the following day
- Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre & post trip vehicle inspections and ensure emergency kits are stocked
- Ensure adequate fuel levels are maintained in vehicles
- Perform other duties as assigned
About you:
- A valid driver’s license and good driving record is required
- Must possess problem solving and time management skills
- Must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Physical ability to carry out duties of the position
